紅絞り豆の種 30粒です。 紅絞り豆は白種川に赤い斑絞が入ったままで、トラ豆と金時豆を掛け合わせた品種といわれています。 紅絞り豆は煮豆にすると色が落ち模様はほとんど分からなくなります。しかし、煮豆の王様と呼ばれるトラ豆に負けないくらい味の良い豆です。 最近はサラダやピクルスの材料にも使われています。 味はスッキリとし後味の良い豆です。煮豆、スープ、カレーやシチュー、スイートポテトなどにまぜても美味しくいただけます。ただ生食はできないので、かならず十分加熱してから利用して下さい。 別名 おいらん豆 栽培法は地域で異なります。まき時は 冷涼地 4月半ば〜7月上旬 中間地 4月上旬〜7月下旬 暖地 3月下旬〜9月上旬 収穫時は 冷涼地 7月半ば〜10半ば 中間地 6月下旬〜10月下旬 暖地 6月半ば〜11月半ば になります。 保存法は直射日光、高温多湿を避け保存して下さい。
