Notice regarding Delivery Delays for Shipments to the United States

Currently, we have observed cases where packages sent from Japan to the United States via Japan Post's Small Packet service are experiencing delays of approximately 1 week to 10 days. While this has not been officially announced by U.S. customs authorities, according to a source from an online news site, customs authorities are reportedly strengthening inspections in response to a large influx of packages from Chinese discount e-commerce sites, the inflow of illegal drugs or manufacturing equipment, and the underreporting of shipments exceeding the duty-free limit.

At this time, we have not confirmed any loss or return of packages. However, if you wish to avoid significant delivery delays, we recommend using DHL or FedEx for your shipments.
