Notice Regarding Transactions of Items on Mercari

Thanks to the preliminary monitoring we conduct before purchasing items, the majority of products purchased on Mercari are successfully transacted without any problems. However, due to the nature of general consumers selling second-hand goods, problems may occasionally arise.
In the event of a problem with a transaction, we work diligently to resolve it by communicating with our customers and, if necessary, by requesting the intervention of Mercari's customer support team.
Recently, a few cases involving Mercari's customer support caused a backlash on social media, prompting the company to announce a review of its support system. While responses were previously provided approximately once per day, delays of more than three days have been observed since the announcement.
We believe this is a temporary disruption caused by the support system review, and we expect the situation to gradually improve. However, please be aware that if an issue does arise, it may take several weeks to resolve.
