[Important] Notice Regarding CPSC Regulations for Shipments to the United States

* This notice was issued on June 18, 2026 (JST) and is primarily addressed to customers residing in the United States. Please note: The below information is based on the information available as of June 18, 2026, and may change depending on future guidance or enforcement by the CPSC.

Thank you for always choosing 8mart.

Beginning July 8, 2026, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is scheduled to make eFiling (electronic filing) mandatory.

As a result, for consumer products subject to CPSC regulations that are imported into the United States, product safety information must be submitted in advance for products classified under certain HTS codes.

The required information includes the manufacturing date of the finished product, the name of the conformity testing laboratory, the test date, and other compliance-related information. However, such information is generally available only to manufacturers or businesses authorized by the manufacturer to export the products. Therefore, businesses outside of the manufacturer's authorized export network are generally unable to obtain this information, and their shipments may be denied entry into the United States and ultimately returned or destroyed.

At this time, it is still unclear how this requirement will actually be enforced—for example, whether eFiling will be required for every shipment under the applicable HTS codes or only for selected shipments. However, if the required information is requested, we believe that shipments for which the necessary information cannot be provided are likely to be denied entry.

As a temporary measure until the actual enforcement becomes clearer, 8mart will introduce a whitelist system for orders shipped to the United States beginning in late June 2026.

If you wish to be added to the whitelist, please complete the registration form that will be announced at a later date.

If you place and pay for an order without noticing this announcement and your order is blocked, we will contact you separately.
