* For customers residing in the United States, please note that due to recent changes in U.S. tariff policies, import duties will apply to most products regardless of the order value.

As announced by Japan Post today, acceptance of commercial shipments to the United States will resume from April 14, 2026 (JST).

Following this announcement, we are pleased to resume shipping to the United States via Japan Post.

■ Shipping Terms
Shipping via Japan Post will be handled based on the declared value as follows:
- Up to USD 800:
Shipments will be handled under DDP (duties prepaid) using the Zonos Prepay system, a CBP-approved Qualified Party.
- Over USD 800:
Shipments will be handled under DDU (duties unpaid) via EMS or International Parcel Post (Air).

■ For Shipments up to USD 800 (DDP via Zonos Prepay)
For shipments up to USD 800, duties and taxes must be calculated in advance using Zonos Prepay.
We have confirmed that by logging into the system and manually entering the required information, duties and related fees (starting from approximately JPY 575 as of today) can be calculated.

Accordingly, Japan Post shipping for this value range will be available under the following conditions:
- You must inform us that you wish to use Japan Post at the time of submitting your shipment request.
- As manual processing is required for duty calculation, a handling fee will be applied as follows:
  - JPY 100 per item at the estimation stage (applies when Japan Post is requested and duty estimation is performed, even if DHL or FedEx is ultimately selected)
  - JPY 100 per item at the shipping stage (applies only if Japan Post is ultimately selected)
Therefore, for Japan Post shipments, a total handling fee of JPY 200 per item will be charged.
The estimation fee will be charged once duty estimation has been performed and is not an additional charge for Japan Post shipping, but a cost associated with the estimation process itself.
- Multiple pieces of the same type and category will be counted as one item.
However, if a request includes products of different types or categories (e.g., a plush toy and a keychain), they will be counted as separate items.

Example 1:
Sending 1 Korean-made K-pop idol's photocard (value: JPY 10,000, packed weight: approx. 50 g) via ePacket Light:
- 8mart handling fee: JPY 200
- Zonos clearance fee: JPY 575 (no duty)
- ePacket Light shipping fee: JPY 1,200
Total: JPY 1,975
Please note: ePacket Light includes a tracking number, but for shipments to the United States, investigation requests are not available and no insurance is provided.

Example 2:
Sending 1 Korean-made K-pop idol's photocard (JPY 10,000) and 1 China-made plush toy (JPY 10,000) via EMS (total weight: approx. 500g after packing):

- 8mart handling fee: JPY 400 (JPY 200 × 2 items)
- Import duties (U.S.): JPY 1,000 (JPY 10,000 × 10%, as of today)
- Zonos clearance fee: JPY 675
- EMS shipping fee: JPY 3,900
Total: JPY 5,975 (duties included)
Please note: Japan Post calculates shipping based on actual weight only, making it suitable for bulky items such as plush toys.

■ For Shipments Exceeding USD 800 (DDU)
For shipments exceeding USD 800, Zonos Prepay will not be used.
Japan Post shipping options (EMS and International Parcel Post (Air)) will be automatically available, and no handling fees will apply.

Please note that any duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees will be billed directly to the recipient upon delivery.

All amounts listed are approximate as of today and may vary depending on Japan Post shipping rates, applicable U.S. tariff rates, and Zonos processing fees.

Please note that the temporary waiver of Extension storage fees will end at the end of May, and standard storage terms will resume thereafter.
